James Condon
Thomas and Mary’s son James Condon was the first to arrive as a convict in 1822 aboard ‘Mangles’. James married Mary Murphy in 1833, and they eventually settled at Albion Park. Thomas Condon
The next members of the Condon family to settle at Shellharbour were Thomas, his wife Mary, and children James, Hanora and Michael. They arrived in 1856 aboard ‘Bermondsey’ and were sponsored by Thomas’ brother, James (convict).
Aboard the same ship were Daniel Condon’s daughter, Ellen Condon, niece of Thomas and cousin of –

Hanora b.1832 Limerick (married Mathew Calvert, died 1884, Dapto)
Michael b.1836 Limerick (married Catherine O’Brien, died 1922, Dapto)

Daniel Condon
The next members of the Condon family to settle at Shellharbour were children of Daniel and Mary Condon, Ellen’s siblings.
James b.1832, arrived in 1857 aboard ‘Admiral Lyons’. His immigration records state that his parents, Daniel and Mary were dead, and that he had uncles James and Thomas, and a sister Ellen Condon living at Shellharbour.
James and Ellen’s brothers John and Daniel came next in 1859 aboard ‘Fitzjames’. Their uncles James Condon was their depositor. John’s wife Mary came out the following year in 1860, aboard ‘Chance’.
Daniel and Mary Condon had four known children -
John b.1830 Limerick (married Mary McMahon, died 1911, Shellharbour)
James b.1832 Limerick (married Margaret Ryan, died 1879, Shoalhaven)
Ellen b.1836 Limerick (married James Seymour and Charles Simpson, died 1912, Granville)
Daniel b.c1841 Limerick (married Margaret Gegan, died 1930, Narrabri)
