He was transported for life to Australia for larceny, aboard the ‘Marquis of Hastings’ in 1825, arriving in January the following year. Henry left behind a wife, Mary Ann (nee Potterton) whom he had married in 1811, and their children –

By 1828, Henry was living at Campbelltown, where he stayed for the rest of his life. Mary and the children joined Henry at Campbelltown sometime later, though no shipping record can be found.
Henry Fowler died 9 August 1852 at Campbelltown. His wife Mary died three months later.
14 November 1852.
Their son, Henry married Anne Gaggin in 1838 and the family farmed at Croom and Tongarra. Henry and Ann had –
