Esther’s parents, William and Rosa (Rosannah) Fleming, from County Tyrone.
According to family descendants, James Hamilton, who married Agnes Russell (daughter of Ebenezer Hamilton and Jane Meek), and lived at Croom, was John Hamilton's brother. John sponsored him to come to Australia aboard 'Lady McDonald' in 1860.
John and Esther Hamilton settled at Kiama before moving to Robertson. They had several children;

Esther’s parents, William and Rosannah Fleming (nee Cunningham) followed their daughter, arriving in Australia in 1858 aboard ‘David McIver’ with their children;

William Hamilton Boles was born about 1855 - 1865 in Ireland, to George and Ellen Boles (possibly Ellen Hamilton).
It is presumed William Hamilton Boles was sponsored by John Hamilton of East Kangaloon, Berrima, along with an Alexander Boles to emigrate to Australia. It is also presumed John Hamilton was related to William’s mother, Ellen.
The NSW Immigration Deposit Journal for November 1883, lists William as 28 years old, and Alexander 24 Years old. They were both from Maguire? Bridge, County Fermanagh.
The NSW Assisted Immigration Passenger List for the ‘Australian’ 1884, lists single men William Bowles as 18 years old, and Alexander as 24 years old. They were both agricultural labourers.
The Boles’ also settled at Albion Park. William Hamilton Boles married Margaret Fleming in 1893.
