DescriptionJames McNabb married Ellen McGettigan in 1859, and they went on to rear a family of ten children following their move to Seaview c.1870.

The McNabbs were tenants of George Laurence Fuller, founder of Dunmore.

After the death of James and Ellen in 1899 and 1900, their children, James Junior, Bridget, Catherine and Sarah continued to live on the farm for the next 37 years.

James McNabb Junior was an Alderman on Shellharbour Council for 22 years from 1919 to 1920, and from 1920 to1941. He served as Mayor from 1934 to 1937.
