Captain Stephen Addison married Mary Anne Wentworth, daughter of original estate owner, D'Arcy Wentworth.
Thomas Fenwick was engaged to work at Lake House for Captain Addison in the 1840's.
From the 1830's the Wentworth Estate was managed by another of Darcy Wentworth's sons-in-law, John E Reddall. John married Martha Wentworth. The Reddall's lived at 'Peterborough Homestead' which was situated somewhere near today's crossroads of Shellharbour and Lake Entrance roads. Over time, this homestead became referred to as the 'Old Peterborough Homestead', or the 'Original Peterborough Homestead'.
It is believed that after the Addison family's departure from the estate in the late 1840's, Reddall family descendants (Thomas Alexander Reddall) moved to the Addison farm 'Lake House'. 'Lake House' in time became know as 'Peterborough House'.
In the early 1900's 'Lake House' was farmed by the Robb family.
