In 1856, Malcolm and Ann both aged 33 years, and their six children arrived aboard the ‘Conway’;

Marion 2 years (married James Harris, died 1930, Ballina)
The Mathie family settled at Shoalhaven and later, Shellharbour.
Son, William Mathie married Annie Russell (daughter of Ebenezer and Jane Russell of Croom), in 1870, and they had four children;
William b.1872 (married Vina Fryer, died 1943 Rockdale)
Ebenezer b.1873 (married Eleanor Downie, died 1949, Pennant Hills)
Annie b.1876 (married William Johnson, died 1936 Wollongong)
Malcolm b.1879 (married Marion Mathie, died 1925, Undercliffe)
William and Annie moved to the Richmond River for a few years, before returning to Albion Park.
William served as alderman for Shellharbour Council, and was elected mayor.
William died in 1897 aged 62 and is buried at the Albion Park Pioneer Cemetery with his wife, Annie.
