TitleVeterans Stories - The North Star, Lachlan StevensDescriptionLachlan Stevens enlisted as a combat engineer with the Royal Australian Engineer Corps in 2009. He was deployed as a High-Risk Searcher in Afghanistan in 2010, responsible for finding Improvised Explosive Devices (IED’s) to protect the unit.

Today he is the owner of ‘His Boy Elroy’ and founder of ‘Bar Stool Brothers’, a men’s mental health community.

In this podcast, Lachlan talks about his deployment, his challenged views around war, and how he found renewed purpose after his time in the defence force.
