The Sub -Branch is not a club. Like all Sub-Branches, Warilla RSL Sub-Branch is a charity, which in simple terms is to provide for the welfare of current and former members of the Australian and Allied Defence Forces and their families.
Currently the Sub-Branch meets monthly (1st Monday except January) . The Sub-Branch conducts a weekly Day Club for seniors on Mondays, a craft group on Wednesdays, and a carpet bowls group fortnightly.
Co-located at the Sub-Branch is the Illawarra Veterans Entitlement Service (IVES) which provides a service to ensure applicant entitlements under government legislation (Namely DVA) are fully granted to members and ex members of the Defence Force, the service is free.
