AddressCroomDescriptionThe Croom platform siding and shed was opened just north eastern side of the rail track, upline of the Croom tunnel for farmers to bring their milk cans for rail to the Illawarra Co-operative Central Dairy depot at Albion Park Rail.

It closed when the Oak Flats station was established.

During the electrification of the south coast railway line from Dapto to Kiama, engineers lowered the rails through Croom tunnel, to accommodate the upgrades to electricity in 2001.

This decision by City Rail, preserved the history and heritage of the shortest tunnel in NSW.

In August 2007, Dunster’s Lane across the Croom tunnel from Pioneer Drive to the highway, was closed to traffic permanently, due to the new highway diversion and construction of the Dunmore Oak Flats dual highway.
