NameGlanworthTypeBuildingFarmDescriptionJohn and Hanora (May) Hambly moved to Dunmore as tenant farmers in the early 1900's. They built and lived in a tin shed home.
May had her first child John Reginald (Reg) in the shed in 1906.
Family oral tradition says that when landowner George Laurence Fuller came to visit soon after, he said that May was having no more children in a shed, and set about building them a proper home, which he allowed May to name.
When the home was built, May named it 'Glanworth' after her home in Ireland.
The Hambly family continued to lease 'Glanworth' from the Fuller's for the next 80 years.
