The cream can was used by the Ball family to transport cream from their farm to the Illawarra Cooperative Central Dairy Factory, at Albion Park Rail.
The cream can was passed on to Joseph (Joe) Borrowdale Smith of 'Cooby' farm, Albion Park.
Joe's sister, Amelia 'Millie' Violet Smith, married Richard Padlar Ball's grandson, Frederick Richard Ball in 1926.
Frederick and Millie also farmed at 'Wattle Grove'. They had four children. A daughter, Shirley Ball, married Garnet 'Garnie' Johnston, of 'Mark's Villa' farm, Albion Park. DonorSmith, Joseph Borrowdale
