John and Margaret's immigration records state they were both born in County Down, Ireland.
Their children were;
Agnes Clara 14 (b.1824, married 1840 Edward Spinks, d.1865, Bulli)
Thomas 12 (b.1826, married 1851 Jane Cooper Endesor, d.1909 Tomerong)
Ademia 10 (b.1828, married 1843 John Bradney, d.1863 Jamberoo)
John Nelson 8 (b.1830, d.1902 Nowra)
Bryce 6 (b.1832, d.1859 Jamberoo)
James 4 (b.1834, married 1870 Annie McClelland, d.1907, Queensland)
William 2 (b.1836, d.1859, Minnamurra)
An eighth child, Isaac (b.1838, d.1922, Queensland) was born in quarantine in Sydney.
John and Margaret had another five children born at Jamberoo;
Hugh (b.1840, married 1866 Bridget Whelan, d.1910, Cobargo)
Margaret (b.1842, married 1860 George Sinclair, d.1917, Epping)
David (b.1844, married 1871 Catherine Hollands, d.1905 Cobargo)
Jacob (b.1846, married 1877 Elizabeth Hibel, d. 1929, Cobargo)
Agnes (b.1848, married 1865 Edward Richard Rolfe, d.1919, Nowra)
In 1841, the Henry's lived in a house at Jamberoo owned by Captain Collins, who had a lease on John Ritchie's Estate.
John Henry worked as a carpenter and sawyer and was probably working for Captain Collins, who built the Woodstock Flour and Timber Mill. John also worked on the Robb Estate 'Riversdale' at Jamberoo, and had a tenant's lease.
John died at ‘Riversdale’ in 1849 aged just 45 years, leaving Margaret with 13 children to take care of.
In 1851, Margaret Henry married Andrew Edward McClelland at Kiama. They moved to Nerriga, NSW where Margaret died in 1873.
