Description
Parents lost young children to diseases of diphtheria and whooping cough.
Archibald and Margaret McGill of Albion Park lost four of their young children within days of each other in 1883 and another in 1889 aged 6 years.
The children are buried in the Presbyterian Pioneer Cemetery, Russell Street Albion Park.
Isabella McGill was a noted midwife and nurse who saved many babies lives during the Diptheria epidemic in the early 1880s.
