Robert (Bob) Harrison was born in Goulburn in 1934. He moved to Shellharbour and worked as a waterside worker for 30 years. He was also a light heavyweight professional wrestler. His other interests include poultry breeding and vintage cars. Bob was an Alderman on Shellharbour Municipal Council from 1971 to 1991. He served as Mayor 1974-1975 and 1977-1991.
