In 1847, Job married Jane Johnson (daughter of Richard and Frances). The couple arrived in Australia aboard ‘Fortune’ in 1852 with their children. Job’s shipping records state he was 27 years old, which would make his birth c.1826.

The family settled at Tullimbar where Job and Jane had more children -

Sarah Ann b.1858 (died 1938, Camperdown)
Three unnamed triplets (2 females and 1 male, born and died 31 Jul 1861)
Job b.1862 (married Alice White, died 1936, QLD)
Job must have had a skill with cattle management, as recorded in an article ‘The Late Ebb Cole’, Kiama Reporter and Illawarra Journal, Wed 9 Apr 1930 (see below link)
Jane Flitcroft died in 1883, and Job in 1891. They were both buried at the Albion Park Presbyterian Cemetery (now Pioneer Cemetery).
Son George remained at Tullimbar/Tongarra for the rest of his life. In his Will dated 1925, George bequeathed his estate to his sister Sarah Ann Flitcroft, of Lismore.
