DescriptionThe Sheiling at Shellharbour Village was owned and occupied by Teddy Thomas, a surveyor who also owned a butcher shop.

Teddy served in the Armed Forces during the Boer War in South Africa, with the rank of Captain. He married Hope Curtis and they had one daughter, Diana. His married life and retirement was spent at Shellharbour and he died there in 1947, aged 83.

Teddy Thomas built the garage on adjacent land for the tenancy of Frank Crew.
