NameSeasideTypeComplexAddress2,Addison Street,ShellharbourDescription'Seaside' was the property of the Bursill family.
Charles Bursill was the Harbour Master, and the family lived in the home closest to the harbour's edge (today Wollongong Street). The Bursill's also operated a guesthouse in a two story building on the same site, which faced Addison Street. The Ocean Beach Hotel now stands on this site.
Charles Bursill also worked as a builder and constructed many buildings in the Municipality including the Dunmore Butter Factory.
In 1929, Sir Joseph Carruthers sold the block to Henrietta Bush, and the 'Seaside Flats' as they were then know, were demolished to make way for the Ocean Beach Hotel.
