ICI leased out the farms on the property, including 'Seaview' which was near the site of today's kiosk, and 'Sunnyvale' which was on Old Bass Point Road. 'Sunnyvale' was previously leased by the McKinnery family.
ICI charged a fee to surfers and tourists to access their land.
