Provenance and SignifcanceThe Apex Club of Albion Park was formed following a public meeting called by Jamberoo Apex Club. The meeting was held at the Albion Park Hotel 23 May 1977. The first official meeting of the club was held at the Albion Park RSL 6 June 1977.

Foundation members of the Albion Park Apex Club were Errol Ashlin, Chris Atkins, Trevor Batson, Denis Baynon, Alan Bowen, Jim Edwards, Kevin Farlow, Robert Green, Jim Hayes, Dave Lipscombe, Tom McIlwain, Jack McPhee, Roger Marsden, Ralph Moses, Colin Roberts, Stirling Scard, Keiran Shepherd, Ron Speller, and Steve Tindall.
