The Mood Brothers established a coach building factory in 1876. By 1895 the business had moved to Tongarra Road, Albion Park, just east of the crossroads.
The company was renowned for its variety and quality of horse drawn vehicles. Louis R Mood was an Alderman on Shellharbour Municipal Council for 21 years and served as Mayor 1898-1901.
Mood Park at the crossroads at Albion Park is named after L R Mood.
