NameMcKinnery ParkTypePark/ReserveFloraGeolocation[1] DescriptionThe land on which these fig trees are located was probably farmed by the Dorrough family when they came to Shellharbour with Caroline Chisholm, and settled on a clearing lease at Shell Cove ( Lots 22, 26, 27, totalling 279 acres on what became Old Bass Point Road Shellharbour).
The land was later part of the McKinnery family farm, who lived at 'Sunnyvale' farm now demolished (Lots 13, 14 and 17 Bassett- Darley estate 1900).
The figs mark the site of farm buildings located on the land later leased McKinnery's.
