John Russell inherited the estate from his father.
In 1916 the Russell Estate (John Russell’s) was sold. ‘Rusglen’ was LOT 5 of this estate. The
property extended to both sides of Croome Road.
Lot 5A sits in the corner of Lot 5.

At the sale of the Russell Estate in 1916, the Wright family had been leasing ‘Rusglen’ – Lot 5
and Lot 5A.

Ebenezer John McGill purchased the farm at the Russell Estate Sale in 1916 – Lot 5 and Lot
5A. Ebenezer John was known as ‘John’.
