Roger b.1840 (married Margaret Fields 1880, died 1923, Kiama)
Michael Joseph b.1841 (married Bridget Sweeney, died 1897, Kiama)
Patrick b.1847 (died 1911, Kiama)
Thomas b.1848
James b.1852 (reputedly born at sea, died 1914, Sydney)
The family settled at Jamberoo and they had another son;
Daniel b.1855 Kiama (married Margaret Bourke in 1883, died 1930, Hurstville). Daniel and Margaret farmed at Yellow Rock before moving to Dunmore.
Daniel and Margaret’s son Thomas b.1875, married Margaret Egan (daughter of John and Ellen of Gerringong) in 1908.
Thomas and Margaret farmed at Dunmore until Tom purchased the mail run between Shellharbour Railway Station and the township. Tom and Margaret had seven children;

Monica
Johanna Murphy died in 1890 and Roger Snr in 1893. They are buried at the Jamberoo Catholic Cemetery, with their son Michael who died 1897, and their grandson, John, who died in 1891, aged 1 year.
Grandson Tom Murphy returned to farming at Dunmore in 1924, and remained there until he retired in 1947.
His wife Margaret died in 1948, and Tom in 1950. They are both buried at Shellharbour General Cemetery.
