He migrated to Australia and purchased Lot 46, part of the Terry's Meadows land sale of the original grant to Samuel Terry, on the 15th November, 1862. The farm and homestead were on the western side of Terry Street, Albion Park. The house was burnt down by vandals after the property was sold to Miltonbrook to develop Centenary Estate.
