A plaque was unveiled at L. R. Mood Park, Albion Park, by General Manager Brian Weir of Shellharbour City Council, with David Jesson, Administrator of Shellharbour City Council, and local controller of Shellharbour SES Mr. Richard Hart in attendance.

The Shellharbour Unit have their base at the former Shellharbour Council Chambers building in Albion Park.

The main central headquarters for the SES has been launched March 2009 at Coniston, Wollongong.
