In 1921, their son Edwin, and daughter, Ida Ann (Annie), purchased 189 acres on the Oak Flats Estate and built 'Yovelton', a timber home. The house was named after her mother's village, Yeovilton, in Somerset, England. Edwin died in 1947. Ida ran the farm until 1950, then leased it until her death in 1968. The property was acquired by Shellharbour Council and renovated in 1984.
