TitleSwyny's Post Office and store, Reddall ParadePhoto Number000128Date1925DescriptionL. T. Swyny established a post office at his store in Reddall Parade, Lake South. Mail was exchanged daily with Shellharbour from 1926, and the shop serviced many holidaymakers who camped, or boarded at the lake during the summer seasons. When Swyny retired, the Cicolini family bought and operated the store. You could buy newspapers, post a letter, buy groceries and other general things that you would need in the home. When the Cicolini family sold the business, the Noonan’s took it up.PlaceReddall ParadeLocationLake Illawarra South
