TitleSelina and John StubbsPhoto Number002745Date1940-1950DescriptionSelina Mary Green was born the 20th August, 1867 at Macquarie River. She married John Stubbs (born 24th August, 1863) in 1891. They lived at Tongarra on the Green farm. John worked for various farmers in the area. Selina was a very accomplished horsewoman and competed at agricultural shows in the district. She was also a fine dressmaker and for many years was the dressmaker of Albion Park. They moved their family to Albion Park about 1902 and eventually built their own home in Terry Street. John died in 1948. Selina died on the 5th September, 1961 aged 94 years.DonorStubbs, Lew & Family
