It boasted a large hall complete with stage and dressing room, supper room and a public library. When built, it resembled the design of the Centenary Hall Albion Park. The hall was officially agreed by Council to operate as a theatre and performing Arts on 1st August 1992, now called the ‘Roo’ theatre.
