Edward Weston was the son of George and Blanche Weston (nee Johnston). Edward and wife Esther settled on the 1500 acre 'Macquarie Gift' property at Albion Park, next to the Johnston’s Meadows grant. The land was originally granted to Blanche Weston's father, George Johnston, of Rum Rebellion Fame.
Edward was manager of the estate and was one of the leading public men in the district.
