Elizabeth May Timbs was born 14th January 1902 at Mt Terry, the daughter of David and Martha Timbs. May was a gifted musician and on leaving school became a music teacher. She married William George Harris on the 30th September, 1925. May played background music for the local movies, was the pianist for the Albion Park Show Ball for 40 years and the accompanist for nearly all the concerts in Albion Park, especially her local Catholic Church. She died 11th April, 1986.
The park is near the tennis courts at the Showground.
