Signed Le President National Jacques Martin at Peronne (Somme) France.Provenance and SignifcanceAlexander Bromley 'Ben' Jones enlisted in WWI in Perth in 1914, served at Gallipoli, and returned to Australia 5 years later in 1919.

Ben was a foundation member of the Perth RSL, and was a resident of Albion Park in later years. He died in 1979, aged 98 and is buried at the Church England Cemetery at Albion Park.

Ben's daughter Patricia Christopher operated the store at Calderwood Road, Albion Park for many years.
