To certify Alexander B. Jones appeared before the Discharged Soldier's Land Settlement Board on the 15th November 1921 with respect to application for land.
Provenance and SignifcanceAlexander Bromley 'Ben' Jones enlisted in WWI in Perth in 1914, served at Gallipoli, and returned to Australia 5 years later in 1919.

Ben was a foundation member of the Perth RSL, and was a resident of Albion Park in later years. He died in 1979, aged 98 and is buried at the Church England Cemetery at Albion Park.

Ben's daughter Patricia Christopher operated the store at Calderwood Road, Albion Park for many years.DonorChristopher, Patricia
