DescriptionCouncil received request from the Brewster family to rename reserve George Brewster Reserve. Resolved to alter the name 1st December 1986 and submit to Geographical Names Board. The Brewster Family were early pioneers in the area and owned a 300 acre property called Lake Holm. The land was part of site 7200 where Shellharbour Square stands and is the open space/ retarding basin area between Wattle Rd & Shellharbour Square. Request received from Mrs. Lyn Brewster Hessell, daughter of George Brewster.
