Reserve was chosen at the entrance to Centenary Hills Estate, Albion Park after discussion with the developers, Miltonbrook Developments & IMB Society.
The park was officially opened by the Hon Ted Pickering MLC on 22 May 1988. RJ Harrison, Mayor, CJ Glenholmes, Deputy Mayor.
The park was officially gazetted 8 September 2017.
