Albion Park Public School P&C Committee in conjunction with the Principal and staff cordially invites you to attend the Centenary Celebrations incorporating official unveiling of memorial plaque.Provenance and SignificanceLand was purchased from E Taylor at a cost of 500 pounds to build a new school at Albion Park in 1892.
Dawes Bros built the brick school and a teacher's residence at a cost of 1550 pounds. The building was completed in 1892 and opened on the 31st January, 1893 by F B Sutton, Minister for Public Instruction.
The school building was used until 1963 when additional classrooms were built to house the growing student population. The old building was turned into an assembly room.DonorStubbs, Desmond
