The land Lot 12 was bought by George Laurence Fuller and inherited by his son George Warburton Fuller. Becoming the Oak Flats Estate it was subdivided into lots in 1921 by public auction.
The site of the school was once part of the McDonald family farm.
When the Albion Park Rail school opened 134 pupils were enrolled and by 1975 when Mr. D. McIlquham was Principal there were 17 teachers, and 456 pupils. (excerpt ‘Town at the Crossroads’ by Stan Thomas).
