At the front of the journal there is one loose sheet of correspondence from the Police Inspectors Generals Office, dated 20 June 1925. The letter details revision of allowance paid to police who acted as clerks of Petty Sessions.
Glued to the front inside cover 'Specimen Cash Book Memo of Instruction' which details the referencing of payments out of public monies.Provenance and SignifcanceThe first Court of Petty Sessions was held at 100 Tongarra Road, Albion Park 21 December 1894.
The new Courthouse in Tongarra Road was built in 1908.
