The South's purchased a general store in Addison Street, Shellharbour, from Flo and Arthur McLeay in 1951.
The front of the store was made of brick, the sides were weatherboard. The room at the back, used as a storeroom, retained the original vertical slabs.
When the shop was demolished in 1969, the slabs were acquired by Tom Rhodes and used for shelves at Shellharbour Scout Hall. DonorSouth, Eric
