He travelled to various parts of NSW but returned to Dapto after a bout of illness.
Rev Thomas opened the school hall at Marshall Mount in 1929 and was remembered as among the first to enter the Mount Kembla Mine after the disaster in 1902, where he greatly assisted in the rescue of the entombed miners. DonorPearson, Graham
