This bell was used by the Nun's at the St Joseph's Catholic School, Albion Park.Provenance and SignifcanceThe original Catholic school at Albion Park, St Joseph's, was built on the eastern side of the convent on land purchased from Samuel Clarke in 1881-1882.
A new three-roomed school was opened 10 May 1925 by the right Rev W Hayden, Bishop of Wilcannia-Forbes.
The school was extended in 1961, the first of five extensions. It was called St Patrick's for a short period, reverted to St Joseph's until approximately 1939-1940 when it assumed the name of the parish patron 'Saint Paul'.DonorRaftery, Joyce
