Provenance and Signifcance
This Imperial 1/4 pint milk bottle belonged to Lynnette McPaul who used it at school.
The free milk program was first introduced by the Menzies Government in 1950 and implemented in most schools in 1951.
The program to provide free milk to school children intended to benefit the nutrition of school students.
