One bonnet was work by John Laing Rea at his christening at St Luke's Anglican Church, Concord in 1924.
John Laing Rea was born to Charles Francis Laing Rea and Lilian Muriel Mary Clayton.
He married Dorothy Lila Jackson in 1951 at Innisfail, Queensland.
John served in WWI N457978 and was posted in the 11th Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps when discharged in 1944.
