Key missing.Provenance and SignifcanceEdwin and Ida Bonser (siblings) built Yovelton in 1921 on Lot 6 of the Oak Flats Subdivision Estate.
Ida Bonser lived at Yovelton and continued running the farm until 1950, leasing the property until her death in 1968, aged 81. The silo on the property was built c.1930 to store silage for feeding cattle.
The property was acquired by Shellharbour Council and renovated in 1984. It was used as an Arts & Crafts Centre known as 'Smarts' from about 1984 and as a Child Care Centre by 2002.
