Alfred Thomas married Edith Gabb in 1907. They lived in Sydney for a time before moving back to Shellharbour.

Alfred and Edith and their ten children, lived in the Thomas family home in Calderwood Road, next to the Marshall Mount Cemetery, and eventually moved to Jutland Avenue in Wollongong.

Alfred Thomas was the son of William and Jane (nee Pearson). He was born at Calderwood/Marshall Mount in the Thomas family home, Oakvale.

Alfred and Edith's son Stan Thomas published several family history book on the Thomas family.DonorNelson, Joy
