Pinnacle no 5 written on the back.

Handle with wind breaker/reflector.
Makers MarkPinnacle Engineering Works, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.Provenance and SignifcanceAcetylene lamps were dangerous in mines. In the 1930's they were implicated in coal seam gas explosions in mines in America, and were gradually phased out.

Its is believed this lamp was used at Tongarra Mine.
