Violet used this sewing machine to make clothes and good for the Red Cross, in times of war, and for fundraising initiatives.

Violet Claudia Blaxter was born in 1897 to Joseph and Isabella Blaxter. She married Tom Duncan at the Presbyterian Manse in Albion Park in 1921, and was 94 years of age when she died in 1991.
