This coffee and chicory tin was used by members of the Smith family at their farm, 'Cooby', Albion Park.Provenance and Signifcance‘Cooby’ was built on land originally granted to J. Paul (1400 acres) and issued in 1833.

The Coughrane family owned ‘Cooby’ from the late 1800’s. Mr. Robert Coughrane leased ‘Cooby’, Portion 2, 69 acres, to Mr Nicholas Ball from c.1911 – 1916, where Robert Smith was occupier.

Nicholas Ball purchased the property in 1917. The Smith family later purchased ‘Cooby’.DonorSmith, Joseph Borrowdale
