NameKillarney Alternative NameMinnamurraTypeBuildingResidenceGeolocation[1] DescriptionThis site was originally granted to William Ralph, and became part of D'Arcy Wentworth's Peterborough estate. In 1865, George Laurence Fuller of Dunmore House, purchased the land this cottage was later built on.
Between 1879 and 1886 the land was leased by Timothy Buckley, and an older cottage to the rear of the property is possibly Buckley’s original home. Around the turn of the 20th century the land was farmed by F. Condon.
George Laurence Fuller's bachelor son, Archibald (Archie) reputedly had the house "Killarney' built in 1906, and Mr. Ettinghausen of Kiama is attributed as its builder. Archibald Fuller lived at Killarney and farmed its 280 acres until at least 1928.
The property was later leased by, and finally sold to Kevin Murphy. The Murphy family farmed the land for many years.
