No. 207 was built in 1971 and became operational in 1972. (ref. Garnet Johnston).

When established it was designated 'Station 13' in the Illawarra.

A plaque at the fire station read 'Albion Park Rail Fire Station Board of Fire Commissioners of New South Wales -

The Brigade received their first call to a grass fire, at the unveiling ceremony.

The station has since moved to Russell Street, Albion Park.
